Biden DOJ Dropped FCPA Inquiry Of Defense Contractor

It is not uncommon for a company to disclose FCPA scrutiny by the DOJ and/or SEC and then at some later point in time disclose that the DOJ and/or SEC has closed its investigation.

When this not so uncommon scenario has occurred post February 10, 2025 (the date President Trump issued the so-called “pause” Executive Order), some have linked such a development solely to the Executive Order often through a “click-bait” headline (ignoring of course that such scenarios have previously occurred).

I intentionally chose a “click-bait” headline for this post to demonstrate the point.
