Earlier this week professionals from all over the world and from leading firms and companies came to Seattle to elevate their Foreign Corrupt Practices Act knowledge and practical skills at the FCPA Institute – Seattle hosted by KPMG.
The next stop for the FCPA Institute is Philadelphia on October 18-19, 2018 in an event hosted by Pepper Hamilton.
Since 2014, the FCPA Institute has elevated the FCPA knowledge and practical skills of approximately 200 diverse professionals through active learning and this link introduces you to the FCPA Institute; how the FCPA Institute is different than other FCPA conferences; the substantive knowledge and practical skills participants will gain by attending the FCPA Institute; and what prior FCPA Institute “graduates” have said about their experience.
In short, the FCPA Institute is offered as a refreshing and cost-effective alternative to a typical FCPA conference and is designed to elevate the FCPA learning experience for a diverse group of professionals such as in-house and outside counsel; compliance personnel; finance, accounting, and auditing professionals; business executives and others seeking sophisticated FCPA information.
At the end of the FCPA Institute, participants can elect to have their knowledge assessed and can earn a certificate of completion upon passing a written assessment tool. In this way, successful completion of the FCPA Institute represents a value-added credential for professional development. In addition, attorneys who complete the FCPA Institute may be eligible to receive Continuing Legal Education credits and prior FCPA Institute participants have successfully obtained continuing education units from the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics as well.
To best facilitate the unique learning experience that the FCPA Institute represents, attendance at each FCPA Institute is capped at 25 participants.
