This Week On FCPA Professor

FCPA Professor has been described as “the Wall Street Journal concerning all things FCPA-related,” and “the most authoritative source for those seeking to understand and apply the FCPA.”

Set forth below are the topics discussed this week on FCPA Professor.

As highlighted here, in a civil lawsuit filed in the aftermath of an FCPA enforcement action the Sixth Circuit concluded that just because the United Nations Convention Against Corruption requires that American courts be available to foreign plaintiffs in corruption cases does not mean that “foreign states win in our courts no matter the merits of their arguments.”

In a similar action, the Seventh Circuit concluded that the United Nations Convention Against Corruption is not binding federal law.” (See here).

This post highlights the many FCPA enforcement actions against companies in the aviation industry.

This post rewinds the tape to highlight FCPA and related developments from Spring 2012.

Elevate your FCPA knowledge and practical skills through the FCPA Institute – Zoom (April 5-7).
